Texas bound...sort of

So, a brief update on some major goings-on in the Hodges' house...we're moving back to Texas! As most of you know, the fund that Brent has worked for (off and on) since before we were married, is now FINALLY closing down on March 31st. I think we both have mixed emotions about this move. It's been a long time coming, and obviously we are excited to be closer to family and friends...especially now that we have Conlee and Reece. But after 10 years in San Diego, this has really become our home. Leaving is going to be really hard.

Leaving would probably be a lot easier if we actually knew where we were going! Brent has yet to find a job, so our current plan is to put our things in storage in Houston while Brent searches for the perfect job. Brent will hop between Houston and Austin while interviewing, and the girls and I will bounce around spending most of our time in Little Rock with my parents with a few weeks in Houston and Austin mixed in. Hopefully this state of "limbo" won't last too long. Please join us in praying for the perfect new job SOON and also grace for the moment (as all this uncertainty is stressful on us all!)

So, to all our Texas friends and family, we are super excited to be seeing more of you soon! To all our San Diego friends and family...well, I'm not quite prepared to write that blog post just yet! :)
