Conlee & Mia's Baptism Luncheon

Ali opened up her house for the girls' luncheon following their baptism. The food was delicious, and we had so much fun! 

This silver ladle belonged to Conlee's great grandmother Horton. It's engraved with an 'H' and was used at all of the big occasions in Conlee's grandmother's (Ginna's) life. Ginna passed it on to me for Conlee. It will now be used for all of the big occasions at the Hodges' household. Thank you, Gigi!

Pray & Play

Here are some pictures from our Pray & Play group that we go to every other Thursday. This group of girls (and their kiddos) is one of the main reasons I am so thankful we are still living in La Jolla. I've been in a bible study with these girls for the last 5 years or so, and it just so happened that we all decided to have our babies around the same time! We have soooooo much fun together! We've abandoned our old Wednesday night bible study and instead we meet every other Thursday morning at 11. It's such a great time of fellowship and fun for the moms and the kids...even if most of them don't really understand that they're hanging out with all their best friends! 

Getting this shot was a true accomplishment! I think I took about 30 to get one where every child is present and no moms' hands are reaching into the pic! The babies range from 3 weeks to 10 1/2 months....

Roma & Lily are our newest additions on the left...Charlie, Mia & Tanner are all around the same 4 - 5 month age and Jake is 10 months

Annie and Conlee are one week apart and Audrey is 10.5 months and clearly irritated with Conlee! 

Here's Conlee...she's clearly happy to be back by herself in her own chair playing with her toy...too bad her mouth just isn't big enough to hold the end of her rattle! 

The Pumpkin Patch!

Today we headed out to the pumpkin patch in Del Mar for what we thought would be a great photo op...boy were we right! Have you ever seen such cute little girls?! I think I'm being objective when I say they are the CUTEST THINGS EVER!!! 

Since Mia & Conlee can't quite sit up on their own, Ali and I had the brilliant idea to take our bumbo seats with us. They worked great, but with the girls' dresses over the top, Mia & Conlee look a little like two SugarPlum Fairies!

Aunt Coco & Uncle Butters Tie The Knot!!!

We had the great pleasure of heading down to San Antonio last weekend to celebrate Courtney & Jeff! Their wedding was absolute perfection...no torrential downpours could possibly steal their thunder! And, no surprise, Courtney was a STUNNING bride (with 3 beautiful dresses)! Please forgive all the photos...no one throws a party like Aunt Coco, so there's just so much to share! I had to divide it into 2 posts...here goes!

Due to thunderstorms, our pool side soiree was moved indoors. But, that didn't stop Conlee from wearing her new bathing suit and cover up (or Courtney, either, I might add)!

Before the ceremony, we all headed to Court's suite to toast the bride-to-be...

It was here that we learned that Jeff wins the "All-time MOST romantic husband" award! Oh my goodness...he showered her with sweet notes and too many gifts to even mention!

The Reception...

The reception was so beautiful! The red lighting was so cool, the flowers were amazing (I mean, red spray-painted hydrangeas!), the food was delicious, the band was rockin'...it was just fantastic! And then the after-party was fabulous...I haven't stayed up that late in years. My feet are still hurting from all the dancing, but it was priceless fun with all my best friends!
