Hmmmm....

Ok all you moms out there...we need help! Any tips on how to help Conlee roll from her front to her back? She's been rolling from her back to her front for a few weeks, but she just can't manage to go the other way. I was never big into tummy time, but now I'm seeing the benefits...hope it's not too late! So, we welcome any helpful hints you might have...but until then, here's our little nugget doing her favorite trick!

Conversations with Conlee

Here's my first attempt at posting a video. Conlee is so talkative these days, I thought I'd share some of our conversations. This is pretty long, but you don't have to watch all of it!

4 months, 16lbs, 10oz and 26 inches long...97th percentile all around!

Conlee turned 4 months yesterday! She was such a trooper about her dr. visit. She just loves Dr. Parsons, and I don't think there was a point during the appointment where she wasn't smiling...until the evil nurse brought the needle out. But, I think even that part was way more traumatic for me than for her! Brent held her hands and I held her pacifier in her mouth and vigorously pet her head! The nurse did it so quickly, and Conlee really handled it great. She went to sleep most of the day after we got home, but I did manage to snap a few shots of her bandaged thighs...these were taken especially for you, Aunt Coco!!!

She woke up around 5:00 and patiently waited for her daddy to get home...I think him walking thru the back door is her favorite part of the day. I love to see her face light up when she sees him walk in!!!

this is her saying, 'um, seriously mom...where's dad?!'

Ahhhh....sweet relief! Daddy's home!

Conlee & her BFFs

After what feels like absolutely forever, we were finally able to get Mia, Audrey and Conlee all together again. What a fun playdate! Everyone came over this morning for lunch, and we had such a great time! Mia turned 3 months yesterday, Audrey is 9.5 months and Conlee turns 4 months tomorrow. Such beautiful, beautiful baby girls! We are all so blessed!

Saturday morning with Daddy...and our new chair!

Brent's 35th Birthday!

Brent's birthday was on the 15th, but we're actually having his birthday party tonight...look for those pics to be posted soon. Tyler so kindly pointed out that after 35, every second of Brent's life is ticking closer to 40 than to 30! Lucky for Brent, here's a cute girl who knows nothing about numbers and really couldn't care less!

Happy Birthday, daddy!

Little Longhorn

The day of Lukarita is always so hectic...last minute grocery store trips, cooking all the food, cutting stuff up for the guacamole, etc. But, Brent is one daddy who definitely has his priorities in order! He dropped everything he was doing so Conlee could go and visit her future home! We also made a quick walk thru campus...I had to introduce her to the 6-pack, the tower, the PCL and all the other class buildings and libraries that I'm sure she'll frequent more often than her mother did! All while wearing her cute smocked Longhorn dress and Longhorn monogrammed panties...naturally!

Lukarita 2009!

Here are finally some pics from our trip to Austin 3 weeks ago for Lukarita! Conlee loved staying at her Gigi & Paps' house, and she also loved meeting her 'aunts' and 'uncles'! These pictures are in all kinds of random order, but at least I've gotten them posted!

Conlee and Tommy McIntyre meeting for the first time.

This sequence of photos is just priceless! I guess we can assume Conlee will be making friends easily...let's just hope she's not so 'comfortable' with all boys the first time she meets them! Tommy really doesn't know what to do with Conlee being all over him!

Conlee finally meeting the Fords! Abby & Casey will be adding a sweet little girl to their mix this January... do we think one day we'll be letting Conlee, Mia and baby girl Ford all move to San Diego and live together? I think Brent, Matt & Casey might have a thing or two to say about it!

This is super random, but one of my favorites...it's the perfect example of how Conlee sleeps everywhere she goes...legs and arms completely sprawled out all over the place. Love it!
Court drove in just for the the afternoon to meet Conlee and Tommy. We had a yummy lunch at the old Castle Hill restaurant. It was so fun and delicious!

Did I mention we had some adult beverages at lunch?! We got back to Sarah's house and decided to see what Conlee would look like as a true brunette!

Gigi & Paps babysat on Saturday so Brent and I could go see Holden's band before Lukarita. They were great...I didn't even have to use the ear plugs Holden was passing out!

Meeting William for the first time...Conlee definitely loved all the attention!

Conlee loved Tyler...he got all kinds of good smiles out of her!

Emma Marie

I can't believe I almost forgot sweet Emma...my first baby girl! She was such a trooper all week with all the kids at her house. She loved to sniff Conlee & gave her lots of good kisses! Love, love, love Emma Marie!

Little Rock Visit

Well, Conlee and I have finally returned from our whirl-wind tour of Austin and Little Rock. We had such a great time! Lukarita was a blast, and I'll upload those pics soon. But, here are just a few from our trip to Little Rock. Conlee absolutely LOVED meeting her aunt Whit, uncle Stephen, great Granddad, all her cousins, Amy & crew and Deidra, David & Rowyn. We had such a great time with everyone. A HUGE thanks to Nanny & Pops for letting us invade their house for a week...Conlee does not travel lightly! We miss everyone and already wish we could come back...the week just went way too fast!

Conlee did great on the flight from Austin to LR. It was my first time traveling with her alone, and it was super easy. Here she is at the airport ready to meet everyone!

Such fun faces waiting for us at baggage claim!

Olivia and Conlee meeting for the first time.

Off to dinner at PF Changs where Marshall entertained us with his new dance moves

love this face!!! I can't tell you how much I desperately wanted to stash Marshall in my carry on and bring him back to SD with me!

Olivia is such a great big cousin! She was a huge helper all weekend long. And, she's known (at least by me) for the hilarious things that come out of her mouth. My all time favorite quote of this weekend came the first night I was putting Conlee to bed. The lights were out and I put Conlee down...as I turned, Olivia was standing beside the crib and she whispered to me, "Aunt Ashley, I could just eat her up! Couldn't you?!" I mean, where do these things come from?! LOVE sweet Olivia!

Conlee loved her aunt Whit, and we can't wait to meet our new cousin in January!!!

Conlee and Pops
Olivia's quote right before this picture was taken, "I've got Marshall on one arm and Conlee on the other...does it get any better than this?!" No, Olivia, it certainly doesn't get any better than these sweet faces!!!

Off to Pop's office to introduce the kiddos to everyone! Olivia and Conlee had super cute matching dresses!

Great Granddad and his two girls in their tutus!

Four Generations....

It's a sad day when the Eoff's go back to Dallas...
One last group shot

Stephen & Whitney's new ride!

HUGE highlight of the trip: meeting Deidra, David & Rowyn!

Great Granddad and his little Longhorn

We loved meeting Amy, Meagan & Savannah!

These girls have such great taste in clothes! :)

All the little Longhorns!
