Conlee has started waving hello! She's so funny because she'll start waving and then get really excited and start flapping both arms all over the place. Brent caught her on camera this morning...the quality isn't great, but you get the idea.
I can't believe she's 7.5 months! Here are a few things she's doing these days:
- She weighs 20 pounds, 3.5 oz, and we love her chunky thighs!
- She is eating a TON! She eats solids 3x/ day and still takes about 20 - 24oz of formula each day too. She loves all food...except avocado. Some of her favorites are apples & cherries, banana mixed berries, vanilla custard with bananas, chicken noodles and ALL veggies. Oh, she's also becoming a yogurt melt addict, and we just tried some veggie sticks tonight...those are going to be a favorite as well.
- She says "mama", "dada", "nana" and various other vowel/consonant combinations...of course she doesn't associate the person with the word, but we know she's talking to us!
- She just dropped her 3rd nap this week. Now she sleeps twice a day for about 2 hours each...give or take. Even if she wakes up early, she's usually content to stay in her bed and play. She still goes down around 6:30 - 7:00pm and sleeps until 6:30 - 7:00am
- She sits up like a champ and gets around the house by rolling. I really think she'll start crawling in the next few weeks. She is up on all 4s rocking back and forth, but then she gives out and goes flat on her stomach! She stands for really long periods too, but so far she hasn't pulled up to standing. We're going to have to lower her crib this weekend because she's pulling up in there, and it's making me nervous!
All in all, she is just such a JOY!!! She has the sweetest, most heart-melting smile and personality. We are so blessed to be her parents!
